Lip Servicing Brings Brands Together for Frontline Workers
In the midst of so much chaos, one of the silver linings for our team is seeing so many amazing individuals and brands stepping up to add their unique skills to COVID-19 relief efforts.
Given our deep roots in the cosmetics and makeup sector, it's especially exciting to see the vibrant community of beauty influencers step up to support COVID-19 relief, as the Lip Servicing movement has done over the past few weeks on Instagram.
Lip Servicing + Capacity Deliver for Frontline Workers
Our team is proud to partner with Lip Servicing and beauty experts around the country to pick and pack gift sets for the tireless front line workers at the Mount Sinai Hospital.
Inspired by Georgina Burke and supported by other popular personalities in the world of beauty, this combination of generosity, organization, and plain old hard work, delivered 500 care packages that included 6,000 items and $100,000 worth of products.
It has been a delight to watch the care packages arrive for these workers and see the positive responses from healthcare professionals. You can see some of those below, or check out the hashtag on Instagram for a full dose of fulfillment at this troubling time.
We hope this initiative brings a much-needed moment of pampering and personal care to NYC healthcare professionals who have given so much to others throughout this pandemic.

Brands Step Up to Give Back
Across the country, brands of all sizes and from diverse sectors are finding ways to contribute to COVID-19 relief. Like Lip Servicing, many of them have found a way to take their core competencies and turn them into something to help or comfort others in need.
Here are just a few of thousands of examples we've seen:
- Allbirds delivered around half a million dollars worth of its exceptionally comfortable Wool Runners (our exec team swears by them!) to healthcare workers across the country.
- The skincare experts at Kiehl's donated hundreds of thousands of meals to Feeding America's COVID-19 Response Fund. Other companies like Grande Cosmetics and Everlane, at a time when eCommerce sales are understandably surging, chose to donate a portion of funds to the same organization, .
- Kai's Organics pivoted from organic vapor products, which require bottles and caps that are in short supply, to deliver urgently needed hand sanitizer to the Tri-state area in conjunction with Capacity.
- Home goods brand Boll & Branch donated a portion of sales to provide mattresses and pillows to medical facilities so that emergency workers can get some hard-earned rest before heading back to the fight against COVID-19.

We thank all the inspiring minds behind Lip Servicing for their commitment to healthcare professionals and we're happy we could lend our team's expertise to such a worthwhile effort.
